We are back from our very first family vacation! We have never gone a vacation just us, we always go with family which is great and a lot easier becuase there are more adults to help with kids. We thought it was about time so 3 days later this is what we got.
DAY 1: We woke up and the "Vacation Fairy" had left the kids some of those popular shape bracelets. Haley got princess and Austin got animals. (The Vacation Fairy leaves the kids a little gift in the morning as to where we are going that day...it gave them something to look forward to. )
At about 10:00 we loaded the car and headed to our destination, don't laugh...Tyler, TX. Since it was our first vacation we wanted somewhere close. We got to the hotel unpacked and ate lunch!

The Vacation Fairy gave the kids magnifying glasses and bugs to hint to them that we were off to the Discovery Science Place! Haley was a little bummed that her favorite scientist Uncle Marcus wasn't going to be there so we took lots of pictures for him!

After the Science place it was back to the hotl for swimming in the indoor heated pool. The kids had a blast, we spent a lot of time in the pool on the vacation.

Vacation DAY 1 was super fun. Stay tuned for Day 2 it was sooo busy!!!
