Wow!

Austin got his very first school picture taken and they turned out great! We were so proud of him!  It was really amazing when we puleed out a picture of Dustin taken when he was about 3 years old!  There is definately a very strong family resemblance.  Austin is a bit skinnier and has a different hair stlyle but they look so mcuh alike.   After having Haley we started trying to have another baby when she was about 9 months old... obviously God had other things in mind because Haley and Austin are a bit more than 3 years apart. There was so much sadness, dissappointments, and questions in those years when we were trying to get our second little baby but looking back on that I wouldn't change a bit of it because if God had done what I wanted then I wouldn't have Austin, and what a shame that would have been because he is such a perfect addition to our family!  I am so greatful that God doesn't always give us what we want when we want it, his timing was so much better for us. So after a few losses and some fertilty treatment we found out that a baby boy was coming, we were so excited!  Dustin and I argued and argued about what to name this sweet little boy...  Dustin won, I DID NOT want to name him Austin Wayne!!!  But now when I look at how much he and his daddy look alike it seems perfect that their names are only different by the first letter.  So Dustin get ready for this, you don't hear it often,  Dustin was right the name Austin Wayne was perfect for him.

Celia Hays Staff Kiddos Trick or Treat

It is great to work at a school that allows the staff kids to do some fun things! Every year they get to come up and trick or treat down the halls of the school!  So fun!  Here are the Swann kiddos!

Good Bye Pumpkin, Hello Mr. Jack O Lantern

So we bought our pumpkin in Haley could not wait to get it carved!  So we started gutting it! Haley loved it, Austin wouldn't even touch it, and Jack looked at us like we are crazy!
Getting the pulp and yuck out!
Daddy took over so I could roast the seeds...they turned out very tasty!

Every year Haley designs the pumpkin!  This was her choice this year...it is very Haley, don't you think?
Last year after Halloween I bought some carving tools for 1/2 off, it was a great investment.  Dustin said it made it a lot easier!

Daddy and the crew~ Seriously, they could not look more alike!
So proud of Daddy for doing a great job on her pumpkin!
Haley was acting crazy and Austin wasin his underware!  Good thing we live in the country!

Pumpkin Patch with the Boys

Sunday after church and naps we headed to Landscape Source for some fall fun. We really lucked out because they had a petting zoo and pony rides, all for free! Which we LOVE!

The big kids in the hay house!
 Jackster loved the petting zoo!

I had to take a picture of Jack with this little sign!  So cute!
