Last Summer Adventure and Meet the teacher

The last day of summer vacation we headed to the Dallas Aquarium.  We had never been, it was very neat! So many cool things to see!

Then fast foward a week  (a very long week of setting my class up) and here Haley is meeting her new teacher.  She was so excited to find out she was in Mrs. Payne's class. Mrs Payne and I have been friends for 6 years and I am hoping she will still be my friend after having to teach my child :)
Daddy took Haley

Haley and I in my classroom!

Sweet Jack showing off all of his teeth!

Mimi took Haley back to school shopping and they had so much fun.  Haley got 5 outfits a matching outfit for her Halee doll and Bahama bucks.  Haley had a blast, she felt so special that she and mimi got to go by themselves together!

Kindergarten Lunch

Our church had a lunch for kindergarten kiddos and  their parents.  Haley was so excited to go, she picked out her outfit and looked super cute!

I can't believe she will be the class of 2023!!

It was so neat!  They had a little assymbly line of things they needed to put into their "church" bag.  The bag is one they will take with them when they go to big church.  It has a 5 Word Journal, they have to right 5 words from the chrurch service...that way we get to see how much they have grown from the deginning of the year to the end.

Sharpening her pencils!

With all of her stuff.

Waiting for lunch.

This was a pretty hard task for the parents.  While they went through the "lunch line" we were not allowed to help or talk to them.  It was about them making choices and doing things independently while depending on God.  Since we will not be there to help them at school.  It was hard for me because Haley's pizza almost fell to the floor...luckily it didn't!

Her choices for lunch were : pizza, chocolate milk, doritos, gogurt and a cookie.  We were not allowed to help them open anything, they had to raise their hand and wait for the "lunch lady" to come help.  They also had a time limit of 25 minutes.

First Baptist Church class of 2023!

So excited about her cookie with her name on it.  She ran out of time during lunch so she took it home with her!
It was such a fun time spent with her...but it made it all more real that she is in kindergarten.  Lucky for me so am I so I will see her all of the time!!

A few pictures of our newest one year old...so sad to have a baby free home! But not so sad to have another!

Jack and me hanging out outside!

Loving his new tractor from Papa and Nana.

Singing to Jack!

Jack LOVES to make a mess!

Opening presents!

Austin is kind of a fan of Jacks new tractor!

But Jack likes it too..he crawled to it and climbed right into it all by himself.

My sweet babies!!!The party was over but not the excitement!  Aunt Nana and Uncle Marcus brought over a little surprise... Daddys old four wheeler!  Uncle Marcus fixed it and cleaned it up. The kids LOVED riding around on it ( I think Dustin and Marcus kind of enjoyed it too)

So fun!  It was a great day. We were able to see so many people, there are a few faces we missed and we hope to see ya'll soon.

Happy Birthday Sweet Jack!

Jack woke up in a great mood...ready for breakfast!

Today was a big day for Jack!  He turned one and he had lots of visitors come and celebrate with him.  The first visitors were PeePaw and Andra.  The kids enjoyed showing them around and playing with them!

Jackster loved his coloring box that they got for him!

The whole crew!
