Jack

Jack Tyler, Jackster, Jack Jack, Jackie, Bubbie, Buddy and just plain old Jack are a few of the names that we call Jack.  Jack is almost 11 months old!  It is hard to believe that this time last year I was about 55 pounds heavier and waiting to meet Jack!  He has been a great addition to our family...he is so sweet and calm. He is so unlike Austin was at this age, Austin was very sweet but not so calm.  Austin was running and Climbing where as Jack is still crawling around content to just watch the world.  Austin would say nothing (he may have talked but he was moving so fast that we couldn't hear) but Jack can say Mama, Dada, Nana, bye.   Jack can clap on command and gives the best kisses.  He is a horrible eater!!!! If he doesn't like it he spits it out, so usually he ends up covered with food!  He loves water and he doesn't mind getting splashed! He went to the doctor yesterday for his 9 month appointment (I know, I was behind)  Here are his stats:
AGE: 10 months 3 weeks
WEIGHT: 18 lbs 15.5 oz  7%  (I thought he was big...turns out 93% of kids are bigger then he is)
HEIGHT: 28"  20%
HEAD: 46 CM 53%

Chef Haley Part 2

Today we painted butterflies!  We used melted butter and food coloring for the paint!  The kids painted their bread, put it in the grilled cheese maker and when they came back to the table they found...

The most beautiful butterflies!
Haley told me that we should have made a caterpillar first becuase thats how a butterfly starts!!!Too smart for her own good!

What's cookin'?  French Toast with orange/honey syrup!  Yummy!  It was very good, Haley preferred regular syrup but Daddy, Austin, and I liked the tangy syrup!

Here she is in her princess dress (from Aunt Nana) making the egg/milk mix to dip the bread in.

Making the syrup!

With her creation!
We will be making those again, they were very tasty!

Chef Haley

Aunt Nana gave Haley a princess cookbook a few months ago and Haley has being wanting to cook so our first creation was pizza.  Austin of course wanted to help too.

Austin ate more than he cooked

If you notice Haley and Austin put on cheese stars!!!

Next creation was Strawberry-Banana Smoothies

They each got to add some of the ingredients!

They both loved the smoothies...
Next on the menu: Butterfly grilled cheese and french toast!

In a hole!

We have finally gotten around to hanging our hammock we had from the old house.  Lucky for Daddy he had 3 really great helpers!

Fishing at our private pond....full of baby fish :)

Here she is right before she flipped! She was a little scared but she wanted to keep going!

Haley rode the tube with Marcus, Dad, Pops, and Mame. Then she decided she wanted to go by herself. Here she is having a blast!

Haley and Marcus drove while Dad was tubing with Austin

Austin drove the boat while Haley and Dad were on the tube.

Uncle Marcus and Aunt Nana on the boat!

Before breakfast at Stevens Gap it was very good!

Sitting on the picnic table by the hot tub.

Haley found a cool rock!

Austin fishing with his fishing pole. I know there are a lot of pictures of Austin just in his underwear...I did bring clothes and he did wear them...they just somehow always ended up off.

Jack really enjoyed the cabin!

Snowcones
That would be my mom holding the lifejacket over her head becuase she didn't want to be in the picture...she is special isn't she :)!!!

Poor Jack was not a fan of the life jacket! He was a trooper though!

Here we are for paddle boats!

Ready for the boat ride!

Austin was in his pj's and then he put his Wonder Pet Underwear on along with his watershoes. He is holding his tackle box (from Nana and Papa) that he fills up with cars!

VACATION TIME! You can see Jacks 2 teeth!

The BIG girls!!!

We took a trip to Nana and Papa's house for a much overdue visit. As usual we all had a blast! The kids walked into the office to find that each one of them had a fishing pole of their own!!! Haleys was Barbie, Austin was cars, and Jack was Toy Story! Papa and Nana also had their pool set up and a great lunch prepared....we loved spending Father's Day over there. Dustin would spend all summer there if he could!

It was time! All of Austins hard work had paid off. He is potty trained so we had to follow through on our bribe. Pop Pops borrowed Uncle Teets tractor and took Austin and Haley out...Austin is still talking about that.

Father's Day! Haley made her own gift for Dad . She made him a card and she all on her own decided that he would love a new game of memory....because she loves to play with Daddy. So she folded the paper, colored 2 of each color, and cut it out.

He was still a pretty happy baby!

Daddy and Jack hanging out. We thought Jack had escaped getting the virus but while we were there we realized he had temperature so we knew another few days at the hous were coming up.

We had been stuck inside for about a week becuase the kids took turns getting a virus so we decided to have a little fun outing! We took the kids to the HAYS playground and ate snowcones! Haley got strawberry and Austin got peach!
