What we have been up to!

I am back at work for 2 weeks now so we have been super busy getting back into the swing of things. Here are some pictures of the last 2 weeks! This is the book Austin picked out all by himself at the library! I am pretty sure that means something :) He really does love his little brother though!

Today is our first thanksgiving celebration...can't wait to post some pics!

Haley wanted to get her picture made with Aunt Nanas halloween decore...made by someone in Marcus' family. Haley entered a visual arts contest. The were supposed to dry something that represents beauty. Haley drew her family because "beauty is love" and "we love each other". Sweet girl...I would vote for her to win if I was a judge :)

Turkey project

The assignment was to decorate the turkey. Haley decided to do a ballarina...she did all the painting and glittering. I did the tuto because we needed to use hot glue!

This Halloween we spent with my family because we hadn't gotten to meet Miss Isabella very well. We had a lot of fun.

Austin was so good at trick or treating this year. He would walk up the sidewalk with Haley know on the door and then he would yell "come in". They would give him candy and he would stand there smiling and they would say "oh you want another piece", they would give him more adn then he would say "hanks" (thanks) turn around and walk away and then cream "bye bye". In the above pis holding up his treat screaming "yeah!!!"

Halloween is officialy Marcus' holiday! He went all out fog machine, strobe lights, grave stone, and the costume. We tried to keep him away from Austin because he thought he might get scared but Austin just walked up to him like he looked like regular old Marcus. Haley on the other hand was a bit scared of him.

Pumpkins

We have made pumpkin cookies, pumpkin bread, decorate a pumpkin door hanger, drank out of our pumpkin cups (thanks for those Amber), and carved pumpkins...so we are now ready for Christmas to come :) Haley designed the pumpkin, Austin gutted it, and Daddy created it! Fun times! Haley and the finished product!

Poor little Austin

As most of you know my sweet little Austin is very allergic to ants! His lips and face swell up when he gets bit. The problem is that with every bit the reaction gets worse so we want to prevent his throat closing up on him! So we have started what they call allergy therapy. What that means is for the next 3 mounths he goes in twice a week to get a shot of ant venom. the amount of venom progressively gets increased. After that he has to go in once a month for a shot until the allergy is gone! So until then we carry around an epi pen and keep our eyes peeled for ant beds! 2 shots down 28 to go...until we go to 1 time a month. :)
