The Dallas Arboretum

It was our final outing of the summer with only two children! It was so hot but the kids had fun looking at the story book houses. Austin wasn't too interested in them but you will see later in the post how he occupied himself. I tried to get a good picture of the kids but unfortunately it was too hot adn I am too big currently to keep up. But when Jack comes we will be going back in the fall to try agian becuase it is really beautiful there. Haley was easy to get good pics of.

Olivia

Haley loves the show Olivia and when she is at my parents house they let her go on noggin.com and print off pretty much whatever activity she wants. So today while I was at the doctor she wanted to print the Olivia dress up pack. I told her she had to cut it all out herself and she did. here is the finished product! She picked out the outfit too :)

BOZ the Bear

Today was a busy day ! We went to the church to go see BOZ. Haley loved it, Austin just wanted to run around and say hi to everyone. Here are the kiddos posing with their BOZ hats on.

Tomorrow we are off to a hot day at the aboretum, should be fun for our last adventure before baby Jack comes.

Horseback riding!

The day started out perfectly! Chef Haley wanted to make Daddy something yummy for breakfast. Lucky for us we had a thing of cinnamon rolls. So while daddy and Austin were snoozing Haley set off to make some yummy cinnamon rolls. Ready for the oven

After breakfast it was off to a stable 5 minutes from our house becuase today is the one day a year that they offer free horseback riding. Haley was super excited! She had to fix her hair with braids and she wore her rubber (camping, fishing, riding) boots. Austin was not going to be riding any horses but he got all dressed up in his cowboy attire...all they were missing were cowboy/girl hats.

Here is daddy and Austin right before we went into the arena to ride the horses. When we stepped into the arena it began to pour down rain. Good thing Haley got to ride under the cover of the arena.

Haley quickly learned how to control the horse she just had trouble getting it to go becuase she couldn't kick it hard enough.

About this time it was thundering and pouring outside....it made me nervous but Haley wasn't phased by it.

She didn't want to get off of the horse!

About an hour later we told her it was time to go so she got off. I am pretty sure she could have stayed there all day!

Our little Cowboy all dressed up. We triedc to get him to touch the horse but he wouldn't have any of it, he just screamed!

Baseball

Haley was learning how to play baseball today with her daddy. While Haley was practicing Austin was pulling up grass, playing on the play ground and getting in trouble :) Haley thinks she plays baseball better if she has on a baseball cap!
