Dustin and I began this annual tradition of carving our Halloween pumpkin when I first moved to College Station (2000). Last year Haley participated a little but this this year she was very helpful...she helped pull out the pumpkins seeds and she helped design the pumpkin. We asked her what shape she wanted the eyes and nose. She said triangle eyes and circle nose. Then we asked if she wanted a scary or a happy pumpkin so that is why the pumpkin has a big smile. Later that night Haley and I read a pumpkin book by the light of our jack-o-latern! She loved that!!!!
