The Fort Worth Zoo

We had a great time at the Fort Worth zoo a couple of weeks ago. It was actually a kind of cool day so we didn't burn up!

I went to the doctor today and he said all is good! He thinks that little Jack will be over 8 lbs by the 7th! If the doctors prediction is right he will be my biggest baby yet, Haley was 5.5 Austin was 7.10 .

Sanding and painting! We are making rustic shelves out of old wood for Jacks room. Here are some pictures of Daddy and his little helpers.

The last day!

Aunt Laci and her crew left early this morning. Dustin and Haley left for their horseback ride about 7. There ride was 2 hours long. Haley loved it!!! They went through water up mountains. Haley rode behind Dustin on the ame horse. JAMES was the name of the horse...and Haley was beside herself bacuse she was able to wear a pink helmet. Normally their are more people on the trail but lucky for them today it was only Dustin, Haley, and the guide. When the horseback riders returned we left for home! Haley was sad she said she wanted to stay there forever. I am sure we will go back agian another time :)

Vacation Day 3: After the canoe trip

Vacation :Day 3

Today we went on a pontoon boat ride! The adults and kiddos both had a great time!

Later that day Dustin, Haley, Gramps, Mimi, Krystal, and Laci headed off to canoe down a river. From what I heard Haley paddled the wrong way the whole time so Dustin was having to work twice as hard. Aunt Laci and Aunt Krystal ran into all kinds of things and we are lucky that they both came back in one piece. Mimi and Gramps handled their canoe pretty well. I wish I could have gone but I am pretty sure that Jack and I would have sunk the canoe so maybe next year I willl be able to participate :)

Vacation Day 2: Night

After playing in the hot tub we ate dinner and then it was time to roast some smores over a small fire. We put Dustin and Gramps in charge of the fire and they made a really big fire :) But the kids had fun! Poor Clista and Carsyn had already passed out in bed for the night!
